Adam Serafin joined California Gold in 2025 as Director of Real Estate, bringing over 15 years of experience in retail development. Prior to joining the company, Adam worked across both corporate and private sectors, successfully sourcing and executing real estate projects for a variety of national retailers.

 

 

Adam began his career in retail brokerage after earning a degree in Marketing and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He initially focused on leasing and investment sales before transitioning into development, where he led projects for major convenience store brands such as Circle K and 7-Eleven. His success in this space led him to launch his own development firm, where he continued to build and manage gas station and convenience store projects for clients such as QuikTrip, Sheetz, Circle K, as well as becoming a preferred developer for 7-Eleven.

 

 

His development portfolio eventually grew to include single-tenant QSRs such as Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, Chick-fil-A, Tropical Smoothie, First Watch, and CookOut, along with larger multi-tenant retail centers across the Southeast U.S. Adam has a well-rounded skill set and a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception through completion. His expertise spans site selection, acquisition, deal making, entitlements, permitting, financing, leasing, and construction management.

 

 

Outside of work, Adam enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his wife and two daughters.
