Doug Kiel joined California Gold Development Company in January 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in overseeing financial operations for large real estate development companies across various sectors. With a strong background in financial planning, implementation, and control, Doug plays a crucial role in managing all financial-related activities within the organization.

Doug’s responsibilities encompass a wide range of key areas, including negotiating loan terms, ensuring compliance, managing risk, raising capital, overseeing accounting processes, conducting project underwriting, structuring partnerships, and implementing tax planning strategies. His expertise lies in developing and executing strategic financial business plans that align the company’s long-term goals with optimal returns for its investors.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Doug actively participates in local church activities, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement. He is also an esteemed member of prestigious industry organizations such as the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Doug holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate & Law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
